I can only list about 3 people that have actually ever sent me a Thank you note as it related to their business. I can tell you that I still to this day keep in touch with them and often if I’m unable to do any new business with them you can bet your butt I’ve sent and will continue to send them business.

It’s good to see that not only did they take the time to keep in touch but it tells me that they value me and their business. The challenge I’ve seen some sales people get caught up on is all the “systems” they have to keep in touch and often they rely on “the companies” system and never think that should life or circumstances change (as they often do take a look at recent layoffs and you know what I’m talking about) their database of connections often stays “with the company”.

I would seriously encourage each and everyone of you reading this information here on Michaels website to find a way to be able to keep in touch with your clients. It just so happens Michael has a way AND it will set you apart from any standard company letter or the card you FORGOT TO SEND.

So how can we make people smile more? What’s the one thing that you can’t help smile about?

I’m certainly not into forming a pity comity so you won’t find me asking what’s wrong when I don’t see someone smiling unless there’s some tears. lol But let’s learn to throw a smile around once and a while people. It’s easy to do when you have that attitude of gratitude. People do have challenges in life and others have problems beyond their control absolutely, but it’s the people with the ability to change that I don’t feel sorry for.

Let’s get focused on the right things people. Love Your Family, Work Really Hard and Live Your Passion. Help others find their success and you’re going to end up winning in the end! Smile someone is watching and it might be Michael Bond!
